The Atelier is the most alluring room in our hotel. The Atelier is located in the top floor of the hotel’s historical building. This room has a view to the Konepaja area, and the diagonal ceiling makes the room extra special.

To guarantee a good night’s sleep, the room is furnished with Tempur beds. Room includes a kitchenette with Nespresso machine and tea set.

These rooms have many beautiful details, including Finnish design elements and art.

In this room there are wonderful works by Finnish artists on display. This exhibition offers viewers the opportunity to immerse themselves in the sensitive expression of domestic artists, offering the opportunity to stop for a moment, reflect and enjoy the art.

Artists participating in the exhibition:

Sakari Kannosto is a visual artist working at Arabia’s art department in Helsinki, who primarily focuses on ceramic sculpture and large-scale installations.

Henna Nuutinen is an artist and designer working in Lahti. She is currently working on large ceramic sculptures that deal with the themes of fragility and cohesion and reflect on Nuutinen’s own relationship with nature.

Sini Villi is a textile artist from Helsinki. She creates three-dimensional, sculptural textile artworks from handmade ribbon.

Fanny Tavastila lives and works in Helsinki. Tavastila mainly works with painting and serigraphy at Kaapelitehta and Seripaja in Kalasatama, and she is widely interested in different materials and various cross-art collaborations.
